Rolex Datejust Crown Problem - watch a few weeks old

Recommended Posts

Some of you may have seen my other posts, i'm a newbie and bought this Datejust from TTW a few weeks ago. Did a review on it here in the relevant section, pleased with the watch and have been wearing it regularly. Was so impressed with it, I bought a Sub from TTW also!! lol. Will post some pics of that soon.

However, this morning....after not wearing watch for a couple of days and it had stopped, I unscrewed the crown to adjust the date/time.....and the crown dropped off in my hand!!?? lol.

Not sure what to do, as im no watch repair guy. Can anyone tell me if this crown is now knackered, or if not.....advise on the method to fix it?

The spring appears to go into the centre of the stem which sticks out, and the stem retracts in and out, and adjusts the time OK, and of course the crown can be screwed onto the watch itself at the thread on the case......but the crown wont stay on the stem......whats up with this???

Help please.....
