On a Good Packing a Watch for Shipment... .

Hi, Gang! A while ago I posted on the need to pack your watches well before shipping & included some pics of the crushed Priority Mail box that contained one of my "treasures." Well, I just received here in PA a watch I purchased from a mate located in The Land Down Under. It was so well packed, I thought I'd offer a few pics so (noobs) could see just how this is done. BTW, Nice watch. dave:

I am totally against shipping of watches in padded bags without first encasing the watch in a protective box. Sadly a lot of TD's still do that. I suffered a loss due to poor packaging when buying of a TD & couldn't do anything about it. Even though it was a cheapie, I still want my watch to function and look right. Anyway, this is a good lesson to learn what packaging should be like when sending a watch.
