The Watch that started it all for me

Similar to Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his old lady being popped and "starting" the Great War (I wonder what was on their wrists, btw), this is the watch that started it for me. I bought a crappy rep from a crappy scammer, returned it and received a refund then found you guys. I contacted Mary and she sent me a watch that was in complete contrast to what I had just returned. I was subsequently hooked on your wristshots, wit and knowledge of horology.

1010 put in a gen crown and tube. It has a gen rubber strap and gen deployment. Thus far I have only documented my acquisitions with my phone. I thought I'd upgrade to my wife's point and shoot:

December '12 I bought the watch. Early in the year I bought the gen strap/deployment. Aprilish I sent it to 1010 with the gen crown and tube.

Is there a gen bezel swap that would work for me? Would that be an visually obvious upgrade or is the rep bezel pretty accurate per more trained eyes? Just wondering.
