reximda 0 Posted September 4, 2013 So against my better judgement, I ordered a Cadence Privateer while Cadence were having a crazy sale last week. A $285 watch for $85. Plus $7 for shipping. I wasn't expecting much, but I have to say, this thing over-delivered. Certainly at the price. Not sure how I'd have felt had I paid $285. This is a 48mm beast of a watch. By far heavier than the heaviest watch I own, the PAM390. Don't have a scale handy. Here's a size comparison with my BK Sub for reference. This thing feels meaty. Its supposedly rated for 500m, but I'll never get a chance to test it, or care. I think it'll make a great knockaround watch, when I don't want to fuck up any of my prized reps/gens. Miyota Quartz, so there's that... and a decent rubber strap with a quality feeling SS buckle. Lume shot was taken with my phone, after a 10 second charge from a bright LED. Not bad. Whether I can pry the Sub or PAM off my wrist and wear this instead is an entirely different matter. Mo' pix (apologies for the fingerprints)...
James. 4 Posted September 4, 2013 For the $$$, not bad. Not my cup'O tea in terms of design, but a good deal.

James. 4 Posted September 4, 2013 :lmao: why is "Cadence" spelled with no capital "C"?

trailboss99 996 Posted September 4, 2013 Mine's on the way along with a Captain. Even at $285 it's good value, where else do you get a 500m watch for well under 500 bucks? You pay more than that for a fake Pam that maybe water proof to 5m if you are lucky. Why no cap? Chris was probably stoned when he designed the logo. 4.20 is his favourite time of day after all. Baldrick 1 Posted September 4, 2013 :lmao: why is "Cadence" spelled with no capital "C"? Because it would have ruined the typographical cadence
