I spoke further with Reg and here's the low-down, he was at the Post Office in Pattaya, it had been raining heavily and as he headed back to the car, both his feet went from under him and he fell backward landing on the back of his head, at 6'4", it's a long way down, he was completely unconscious and was finally brought round by a crowd of excitable Thais, he got in the car and headed home, but felt dizzy and sick, so headed straight home and thence to hospital.
