gB. 0 Posted September 17, 2013 Also be cautious if the buyer asks you to leave th cash in a brown paper bag in the men's room in the bus station It's probably Onze trying to lure you into a trap He got you, huh? :hehehe:

Springbokkie 0 Posted October 8, 2013 I've just purchased my first watch tag carrera calibre 16 from Andrew.. Did it via paypal which was for a different site and different good which he told me to ignore as it was a way to get around payPal followed his instructions which was not to fill in anything.. Very good with communication so all being well I will get my watch and not some IT led thingy.???????? Here's hoping ... When I get it I will definitely read up on how to take pics for you all to see. This site has been invaluable for me in making informed decisions. Thank you so much. Springbokkie ???? Happy Tappy 0 Posted November 27, 2013 Sell wants me to use another website to pay using PayPal. The description of the product states watch bands. Is this the right process to follow ? The seller is on your safe list ? Thanks
Springbokkie 0 Posted November 28, 2013 Yes it's ok.. Mine reflected bridal stuff. It's ok and just their way of not highlighting the fact that it's a replica.

Fat Panda 30 Posted March 17, 2014 I thought there were restrictions on sending payment as gift to China? My wife is Chinese and when I spoke to Paypal about it, it was not possible to send money as a gift. What do members here like to use? Do you still like Paypal , or do you work with your TD using other payment methods?

HWG 11 Posted March 3, 2015 Bumping this again, as I just heard of ANOTHER M2M sale where the seller insisted on paypal gift option, and, guess what? The seller has gone silent, the buyer has no watch, and no way to get his money back.
ABGregw40 0 Posted March 4, 2015 Ok, a lot of us like to use paypal to pay for reps. There have been many threads on this before. I have dealt with a few M2M disputes lately, and things have not gone well for either the seller or the buyer. Here are some thoughts from me that will enable a buyer to keep his membership here, and how a buyer wont get scammed. (Its not foolproof, but it will help) Sellers: It is stated in the rules here (you know the page... where you click the box saying you read and understood the rules?) that payment by paypal gift is not acceptable. Other terms in paypal also are - sending payments to friends, payments owed, or gift. Requiring these as payment in your sales thread will get it nuked ASAP. It is NOT OK. Also, if you ask for this payment method via PM to a potential buyer, it is my hope that the buyer says no, reports the PM to admin, and you, the seller will be placed on No Sale status. Buyers: Never, ever pay via gift. Should something go wrong, and you want a chance at getting your funds back, pay as if you are buying goods. ONE MAJOR CAVEAT - LEAVE THE DESCRIPTION FIELDS BLANK. No mention of watch brands, web sites or anything. If something goes wrong, and you payed the right way, you have 45 days to file a dispute that may get your money back. Also note,a paypal dispute is a last resort option, as you should have had a mod involved before getting to this point. I'm done on the soapbox for now. All I want to do is help members here enjoy their hobby. I can not ever guarantee success in a M2M dispute, but following some of these tips above will help everyone. From a new member..point taken.. thanks .. will heed to the letter...
