Androclus 0 Posted August 9, 2010 Does anyone know how easily the omega logo is corrected or if it's correctable at all? or if Mary has a V2 coming out that would make this watch damn near flawless.. sooo close to buying this but of all the things to be a tad off it had to be the ohmmmmmm B)
Baldrick 1 Posted August 9, 2010 Be aware that Omega have used different logos on lots of different models over the years including 'happy feet', which were used on the original PP.stop obsessing, nobody will EVER notice, unless you post photographs on this forum, WE'LL ALL NOTICE, but Joe Scmo' public won't EVEN your local AD won't. Pull the trigger, you won't regret it.

AllergyDoc 40 Posted October 11, 2010 I believe it advances or turns the bezel.
dingle 57 Posted October 11, 2010 I believe it advances or turns the bezel. +1 it is a Bezel release security pusher
ThinkBachs 1 Posted October 12, 2010 This is the V1 version with the Omega happy feet as has been pointed out already. Yes, Omega has made many variations of this logo, but the happy feet on this watch is the first tell that most people who are unfamiliar with Omega will not notice. The orange pusher is non-functional on this version. It plunges up and down, but does not unlock the bezel as the V2 does. This also has a sandwiched crystal which can easily be damaged by the slightest amount of water getting wicked into it from the edges causing de-lamination. The deployant on this version is no where near the quality of the V2. The case back is one piece where the V2 has a 2 piece case back. The glass bezel insert on the V1 has its lume thinly applied to the underside Vs having it applied to the bezel on the V2. This gives the V2 insert a weird, hollow appearance, and doesn't look right in most light. Both lumes are rather weak. When you see a nice bright photo of the Ploprof lume on either version, it's safe to assume that the person taking the photo charged the heck out of it, then took a photo seconds after the lights went out. The advantage of the V2 is that the sapphire insert can be super-lumed, where the V1 cannot. Both V1 and V2 come with the same rubber strap. Some V1 Ploprofs are available without the clown feet logo (ask ReplicaMake), but still have all the other issues/inaccuracies described above. Overall, the V1 is not recommended, mostly because of the sandwiched crystal de-lamination issue and poor deployant. For the V2, removing the bezel insert and super-luming it and the dial will make for a very happy owner and a rep that comes as close to a gen as any watch can. The only other mod that would make it complete is to have a date wheel with a glossy finish, and a slight deployant mod to give it better adjustment control (meaning it will keep it from slipping).
