Currently and temporarily, the rubber band sits between the crown and the crown guard to prevent crown’s rotation. Thanks for bringing up the question. Have two inner bezel watches, one is a vintage Titus with inner compass and it is stiff as fuck! Too stiff! Other is my latest Orient but it seems ok. At least you matched the blue!
