Not my cup of tea, but because of the acid-yellow dial.

Finally got this one all sorted out. I had this for about 3 days and noticed that they movement had some serious issues. I sent it in to the US Seiko service center where they put a new movement in. The day that it arrived back I noticed that they had done some quality damage to the crystal. Quite P.O'd I called customer service and immediately sent it back.

Arrived home yesterday and all looks good. Considering getting a BoR in place of the current bracelet. IMO it gives it a more retro look.

Apparently Seiko service centers both US and UK do not have a good reputation and this kind of thing happens more than it should. Depending on the issue I will think twice before going back to the service center and will perhaps let a local watch maker fix things.

That's been my experience too. I had a relatively cheap quartz chrono (SNN123) that I sent to Seiko service (New Jersey) due to the date not changing. They charged me over $100 to fix it. It came back DOA, well at least the date would change when turning the crown! Sent it back, they fixed it again and it was all good. In the end, it was just a pain in the ass and I sold the watch on m2m for a total loss. My big takeaway was that I absolutely would not have any faith sending a real watch to them (like an Astron), and would probably look to send back to Japan for quality service. Glad you got it sorted out and yeah, BOR would look good on that!
