Do you mind me asking where you got this strap? The color just pops so perfectly!

Taking out my new toy, the Seiko Prospex Diver SBDC055, which I just bought in Japan for a spin at the Shibazakura Festival near Mount  Fuji.

Sad that the pretty pink moss was only 20% bloomed. I hope u all like the pics.

This is wad it was supposed to be like at full bloom.

And it was really cloudy today. Mount Fuji initially looked like that.

But it decided to show us some magic...

Seiko 6139 3rd UFO with mvmt from 1st

I put into this UFO a movement (6139B) from another watch. Then, after several trials, finally made the chrono second hand be able to reset to zero. It was about +0.35 second off, like this in the day before yesterday:

Seiko 6139-7020 3rd UFO chronograph

Still need to get a stem that can turn the inner bezel. That’s expensive.

Yea, he has about 40 acres, most of it is wooded. Went for a walk in the woods and snapped this on the way back out.

Not sure how the panaramic shot will turn out ; hard to tell looking at it on my phone.

So today is our last full day in Japan before we fly home tmr.

Had to visit this place as Japan is the land of the Seiko.

Will post more pics of this place in a seperate section as there are way too much pics to post here. Think I will need a proper laptop, instead of my mobile, to get the job done.

Behold...... The Seiko Museum in Tokyo, Japan.
