HWG 11 Posted September 26, 2013 Got this one in yesterday, and its really a great piece. Hamilton Caliber H21 auto movement (based on ETA7750) day/date, chrono, inner adjusting bezel, and cool display caseback. 42mm case is very well balanced, with nice details between brushed and polished surfaces. The rubber strap is probably the softest, best fitting rubber strap I have ever had on a watch, including my gen Seawolf. The double butterfly deploy clasp is aswesome, and it even has micro-adjustment on either side. I have the OEM SS bracelet and black leather strap alson inbound. This is a really well done watch, and feels good on the wrist. Pics: Double butterfly deploy, with plenty of adjustment. Face shot: Propeller inspired caseback: Lume (not as bright in real life, the DSLR made it look a bit better) Thanks for looking!

Tits McGee 7 Posted September 26, 2013 Very nice! I look forward to seeing it in M2M this weekend. I don't think we'll be seeing that beautiful piece in the M2M for some time to come. That watch gives me wood! Awesome Dave!

NFleischer 4,355 Posted September 27, 2013 Congrats HWG. The new range of Hammy Chronos are very nice, improved 7750/7753 mov'ts with very long PR. I picked up one also, has the same mov't as the X-Patrol. Looks like a IWC Spitfire Chrono wannabe. Nice rugged leather strap.

NFleischer 4,355 Posted September 28, 2013 Thank you, it's a Khaki Field Automatic chrono. They have this one on sale @ Overstock.com now for $825. Also several similar models all about $800-1000. Good deals since they have Swiss Valjoux 7750 based mov't inside. The leather strap is very nice as well.

DoubleWristed 0 Posted September 30, 2013 Thats a beautiful watch, I have had a Rose Gold X-Wind and a X-copter on rubber and Hamilton's are a great value for the fit and feel you get.
