Baldrick 1 Posted June 23, 2010 Finally received the Ploprof from my dealer, the glass was removed (and as expected it's a laminated crystal), we couldn't be sure whether the they used a water soluble adhesive, so it was disassembled and fully epoxied, the watch was then fully serviced and silicon sealed to ensure water resistance, it's fitted with an Asian clone ETA 2836, my dealer categorically and without fear of contradiction ( he's also a 40year+ veteran watchsmith) states that there are NO / NADA / ZILCH 'GENUINE SWISS ETA mov'ts used in any of these PloProfs, his statement was, 'if they tell you they have a genuine Swiss mov't, they are bold faced liars'. having known him for so long, I'll take his word for it.
