fumoon 0 Posted October 1, 2013 I should have do a search first before opening this mille miglia....~_~ I was trying to tighten or maybe lube the noisy rotor....then turns out it is a common problem on these watches(other members already posted that on the forum) And now I'm having a hard time trying to put back that little rubber seal around the bottom cover....been messing around with it for over 20mins. Is there any tricks on doing that?
Dendo 93 Posted October 1, 2013 Usually it is easier to fix it on one side or the other - the caseback or the case. If you use silicon grease on the sealing ring to make it waterproof that can keep it in place while you screw down the back.
SSTEEL 0 Posted October 1, 2013 After greasing, I use my tweezers to lay the o-ring over the recess in the case, then using the tweezers edge, I gently guide the o-ring into its recess, moving around it until its all in place.
