A chronograph is a timepiece or watch with both timekeeping and stopwatch functions... that is pretty much the standard definition. Chrono is short of chronograph. And a chronometer is any precision timepiece.

 

And the listing says "see above" infering it is the sane as a Chronometer.

 

Let me do some more checking on the other one.

When I look at the luxury watch manufacturers' sites, they call all their watches chronometers and those with stop-watch function "chronograph." So the way I am understanding it is all chronographs are also chronometers, but not all chronometers are chronographs. My sub is a chronometer. My SA is a chronometer AND a chronograph. Both terms are appropriate...
