kime 0 Posted October 8, 2013 I love Pams instead of numbers I'll put forward some characteristics that I think define the brand and shold be the characteristics to look for first. 1. The absolute TOP is the sandwich dial. It is pretty unique across the major brands, in my mind don't get a non sandwich as your first purchase! 2. The "swirls" for numbers 3, 6 and 9 done this way for the sandwich dials. Pretty much on all models but some miss out the 3 or 6 often to place a seconds dial or date. 3. The glass. For me one out the defining characteristics which uniquely shows off 1 and 2 4. The crown guard on the mariner 5. The big size So, for me go for the classic designs with the classic and unique characteristics first ! My bets 127, 312, 320, 327 as these have high quality 1:1 and in my opinion have the basics of what defines the brand. My 2p worth :-)
FCarvi 0 Posted October 8, 2013 This is called the PAM bug!!!! 111, 117, 000, 005 are really good starters.... then you will HAVE to get a rad 388, 505, 292... a sub/arktos 187, 243, 193, 305, 092, 186... a chrono 253, 286, 212, 308... of course a whate dial 113, 188... and goes on and on and on
