KinCaidk 0 Posted June 23, 2010 This is actually a post I made on RG a long time ago.. I thought I posted it here too.. but apparently not I since sold the watch as it was too small for me :P So I bought this watch from Suchecracks. He already had already vintaged the casing and crystal, but I always felt that the dial and hands looked to new. This was how it looked when I got it: I have never experimented with watch modding and am a total noob in that field.... So please have this in mind. Well it is... pretty darn vintage: And finally a tampered lume shot.
KBH 7 Posted June 23, 2010 It's somewhere between vintaged and abused. I like it a lot other than the dial being a little over done. Did you use varnish on the dial?

greg_r 81 Posted June 23, 2010 hmm - I've seen these photos before somewhere, but maybe it was at RG. You did a damn fine job with that watch - I'm kinda surprised you sold it, to be honest.

I have to admit that I went a liiiiiiiiiiitle overboard with the dial :P It was my first try to vintage something - and a good learning experience. I didn't use varnish on the dial... pretty much used everything else though coffee, vinegar, torch... etc. etc.
