sms 0 Posted October 9, 2013 Does anyone else have trouble with the rep omega clasps? I have three right now that won't shut. Different issue for each one, but end result is they won't shut or stay shut. This last owner is new, 400 bucks and lasted less than a month. In its case the pin holding clasp together broke. I could fix it with a 14 x 1 mm spring bar. But can't find any such I animal anywhere. I've put leather straps on all three but I guess I'll have to spend the $ for a gen bracelet. I haven't had a problem with any other bracelets, but every omega I have, whether from TD or m2m has eventually broke and usually when I'm out somewhere and it falls off. onionbag 1 Posted October 9, 2013 Often the problem with these is the diver's extension. Open it all out then seat the extension first making sure that it is firmly in place, then close the main clasp. If the extension wont stay flat and in place you can use a centre punch to cause swelling at the edges so that when closed........it's jammed in place.
