tanaris 0 Posted October 23, 2013 My watch also suffers from a misaligned date wheel, does anyone have a fix or a gen DW source?
BolducZogmar 10 Posted January 14, 2014 Hello! I just ordered one from WI. What should I look at on the QC pictures? I cannot see what this upside down second hand is about??? (But I'm a newbie).

J!m 289 Posted January 14, 2014 The quality/technique of the brushed areas of the bracelet give this away. Change that to gen, and re-lume as already suggested, you are are done with this one. A gen Date Wheel would be nice; however you need a Eta 2892 to fit the date wheel- If this is a 2824 rep movement you can swap the dial and hads over and really be a 90% gen since the Co-axial is based on that movement (but with a slightly slower beat, so that becomes the tell when you watch it run- even most watch geeks would not catch this). Finally the feel- I guarantee the feel of the winding crown while seting or winging on my PO is infinately smoother than any rep. You can't hear it ratchet, and it is so silky you wonder if it is attached to anything mechanical inside... THAT is hard to replicate, but correct lubrication with the correct lubricants can help. Overall, I have to agree this is a VERY good replication.
Danza1812 0 Posted January 16, 2014 I had this watch and was put off by the strong blue of the AR, it was just too much.
BolducZogmar 10 Posted February 3, 2014 (edited) Had to reject 3 propositions, insert/bezel alignment was always wrong. Eventually, I let it down... :( Edited February 3, 2014 by BolducZogmar
lizzyfan 1 Posted February 8, 2014 I normally order a rep of the gen watch I want to buy so to 'live' with the feel, size etc for a couple of weeks before i buy the gen. I ordered this rep from a TD but it was DOA. Arranged return to China for repair which was done but took 3 months. The returned watch was again DOA. So I returned the watch for a full refund which the TD did with no fuss. I now have the gen which I'm very pleased with. My next purchase is the 42mm ceramic PO with rubber strap. Can't afford the gen just yet though!!
