Del 4,463 Posted October 20, 2013 Probably the only combo like this, in the world.......... I had an idea that perhaps a two-tone bracelet might work on the Seiko Blue Baby Tuna to pick up on its gold crown and hands so I looked around and found this incredibly good quality bracelet made by Eichmuller (supplied by the Watch Band Centre) for around £45 delivered. It's made from solid links so is heavy, has a nice hidden clasp and is 22mm straight. So, what do y'all think? fragzzone 0 Posted October 20, 2013 Holly smokes, that Tuna keep popping out on me... not a good time since I got the Seiko bite.
Mazz 62 Posted October 20, 2013 Maybe if the shroud was stainless also
Del 4,463 Posted October 20, 2013 Maybe Mazz, although the bracelet is polished so a polished s/s shroud would be best - not sure if they're available. I still like the blue shroud though!
Beefalope 0 Posted October 20, 2013 I'm generally not a fan of two-tone, but it does work well with blue watches -- and it works really well in what you've got going on there. Seiko watches are so underrated. I'd love to get one of their spring drive watches. Those are just awesome movements.
dalboy 2 Posted October 20, 2013 Nice blue Del.. it dont match your eyes though ! Love the Bracelet on it..

gB. 0 Posted October 20, 2013 Are you also planning to change your screen name to Mr. Papagiorgio?
markeym3 2 Posted October 20, 2013 looks like a decent quality bracelet ,,, going to check them oot
Del 4,463 Posted October 20, 2013 Are you also planning to change your screen name to Mr. Papagiorgio? @ markey - the bracelet is superb quality. I didn't want to buy a folded link bracelet and wanted something heavy, which this is! Even the clasp works a treat. Adjustment is straightforward too with normal push pins. dipps 3 Posted October 20, 2013 Nice Del! Thanks for sharing
SSTEEL 0 Posted October 20, 2013 Damn, I clicked on one of Del's threads with his photos inside, damn it. That actually looks ok, maybe as mentioned, if the bezel was stainless, it would look even better. Maybe theres a mod for you Del, remove it, and polish it to mirror finish? Clicking threads of Del's causes my wallet to sweat
onionbag 1 Posted October 20, 2013 Smashing images as ever Del..........I'm afraid the dissonance between the shroud and the SS is too great for me. But................you know aw ma taste is in ma mooth.
Pihlippe 1,271 Posted October 20, 2013 Nice bracelet, but not on that baby tuna though
Del 4,463 Posted October 20, 2013 I knew this would split opinions! I really don't fancy the s/s shroud mod - by all accounts they don't fit this model exactly and are a bitch to fit. Plus, I actually like the blue shroud! Remember, the lugs are s/s too, and the bottom of the case between the lugs so there is a bit of continuity with the bracelet (over and above the gold bits). Thanks guys.
greg_r 81 Posted October 20, 2013 Hmm - gotta say it doesn't quite do it for me - there's something slightly off about the bling bracelet vs the blue shround (which I like too, Del - don't change it!). Have toyed with going the bracelet route on my black baby tuna - may go that way yet, but I'm trying something else first... Pics in a few days, I hope
andyboy 5 Posted October 20, 2013 I like it and it probably looks better in the flesh. Not that your pics aren`t superb Del. Wonder how it would look on this
BentleySharp 0 Posted October 20, 2013 i like, i like! the two tone band highlights the white numbers on the face and dial. unique and pronounced.
Martin72 1 Posted October 20, 2013 That Seiko is amazing Andy! Not a fan of the two tone on the OP myself, it mirrors the hands so it's not a total disaster but just too busy for my taste!
greg_r 81 Posted October 20, 2013 I like it and it probably looks better in the flesh. Not that your pics aren`t superb Del. Wonder how it would look on this You need sailcloth for that, Andy..
black263 228 Posted October 20, 2013 Would look nice with the RWG strap and claps.
andyboy 5 Posted October 20, 2013 Yes Greg I like the sailcloth and it looks better on it than the stock s/s bracelet. But that strap of Del`s is very nice and I will be keeping my eye on the m2m`s for it.
Del 4,463 Posted October 20, 2013 I still like the standard blue rubber strap too, but for more informal occasions only. I think this bracelet option enables me to wear the Tuna to the office more often.
pierre722 0 Posted October 21, 2013 I actually like it. Looks great! Where did you get the bracelet?
