KBH 7 Posted June 27, 2010 For those that are interested, especially JoeyB, I recently posted about a new ceramic insert from Mary that was way too thick to use in my V1 GMTIIC. At first it seemed impossible to take any off with the standard grinding tools. Too damn hard to work with. Then I found this nice little diamond blade kit at Harbor Freight: I took about 50% of the rim off and it fits rather well. I think it's a huge improvement over the first insert. I set the insert in a little ring of plumber's putty to hold it in place while grinding the back side. Worked pretty well and the whole job took about 20 minutes.
