Monty010 1 Posted October 29, 2013 Great read Greg, think we can all be greatfull that from so many ashes a superb forum arose. A place a lot of us call or are starting to call home. (Or a place to momentarily escape the missus )
Mike on a bike 0 Posted October 29, 2013 Greg great job ,answers a lot of questions. As few were around in the old days the past has always been shrouded in mystery, no longer.
Aren 27 Posted October 29, 2013 Thanks for sharing this Greg and thanks for putting the time into writing this for us. I still miss Robert. He was always so funny and informative. Too bad many didn't get his humour or appreciate his wit. Far too many left the SB needing iodine for the cuts. Much gratitude for and to you Greg and Trailboss for keeping RWG alive and keeping it the great place it is. I feel like I missed things not being here at the beginning, but better late than never to the party. RWG's birthday is coming soon I this place which has become my internet home. I am very happy to be here with so many members I have come to know and care about. Adm/mods here are the very best. THANK YOU ALL !!!

SSTEEL 0 Posted October 29, 2013 (edited) Just read this in its entirety, and what an amazing journey RWG has evolved from. Thanks for taking the time to write this thread, Greg, its really appreciated. I was a member of the old board back in the day, but due to working overseas a lot at the time, and whatnot, I drifted, but I am back for good, and when I say that, I mean it, RWG is my home, and at 43 now, will be my home until the day I die. Congrats to Col, and your good self Greg for all your efforts in building the new RWG, and of course lets not forget the other guys who work hard moderating the forums, and the guys who work behind the scenes helping members, whether they have issues/concerns with a TD, or generally just helping out a newbie And finally the old-timers who stuck around, and had faith in RWG, and I feel its these guys who helped build the very foundations of RWG today. myaz 3 Posted October 29, 2013 Fascinating. Well done. A massive amount of work went in here. All for no renumeration?!! I hope that there's more in it for you guys besides a low # RWG limited edition watch...at some undisclosed fading date in receding future..... and a hell of an entry in your résumé. Do you care to give some consultation to the folks trying to fix the minor "glitches" in Obamacare?

Chrisby 1 Posted October 29, 2013 Thanks for the insight into the early days and the development in to what RWG is now, there certainly is a lot of history there and definitely a very interesting read!!
