Real or fake? GMT-Master II blue/black craigslist

Well the red sticker under the clasp is a sign of gen, but that cyclops looks weird. Maybe the angle?

Well, the fact that he is willing to allow the watch to be authenticated at an AD is good. He also will only do business face-to-face at a bank location. But, the fact that he expects the buyer to pay for the authentication is a bunch of bull. However, I don't see any red flags. If I were a buyer, I'd meet him at an AD and verify the authenticity. However, I'd ask him to pay the cost of verifying it.

Definite rep, the blue/black divide doesn't go through the centre of the 6, it's off, one of the unfortunate flaws of the rep!

I'm struggling. Has the cyclops got AR or not? Can't really tell.

Pictures aren't really the best on the website either.

Hopefully some one will come along soon and give a more experienced answer than me.

Anybody that buys a Rolex for real money off Craigslist is far more of a man than I. The true definition of a gambler.

Wait, It has a smooth sweep second hand? It has to be real, right?

+1

I would also add.

Even though this detail is small and probably not relevant.

I see he put down some paper towel to protect the crystal. Just based on that alone, I would add that to the list of "gen tell" signs.

He cares enough to protect it, he probably has a gen in his hands.

(Again. I'm probably wrong. But it's a detail I think is worth mentioning.)

Yep I googled that image as well. If you scroll through other gens it seems to shift around but maybe that's photo quality

Bezel looks good. Seems to be platinum dusting. Now I guess you could put a gen bezel on a rep. Also, every AD I have been to has not charged me to authenticate my watch.

It looks gen to me because the hand stack seems correct, although a better photo would help?? But the price??? WTF!!

It's certainly relevant, nicely spotted. That's in fact a very good indicator IMO.

I'd say gen, no one selling a fake is going to stipulate those conditions.

I think Odyseus is on the money as well, the hand stack looks to be correct so either someone went to a lot of work or it's gen.

I like that watch a lot but I guess it's not for everyone. I don't really want anymore reps at the moment but I may have to change my mind for one of these!!
