123qwe 0 Posted July 3, 2010 What do you would buy as first replica watch? The submariner or the Planet Ocean 45mm? I think i'm more with the planet ocean because is less eye-catching than any watch with the Rolex logo on the dial. I mean it seem more a "norma" watch. The rolex whit is fame is more suspicious... Silverspeed 10 Posted July 3, 2010 Hmmm...tough choice...I probably would buy both the Submariner is an absolute classic and especially the "Noobmariner" from Narikaa is great value..but so is the PO
barkingtoad 2 Posted July 3, 2010 BOTH BOTH BOTH i would buy both
wat44 0 Posted July 3, 2010 ive got 2 POs and 6 subs - definately BOTH
fakemaster 0 Posted July 3, 2010 Comparing a Sub to a PO is hard enough. A 45 is even moreso. The experience is so different. So it all comes down to preference. Mine will always be the Sub.
Ska 11 Posted July 3, 2010 I have a feeling this thread will only confuse you more!! Personally I'm an omega man - I've got a sub and a datejust on order from Mary but my PO is my favourite by far. Go Team Planet Ocean
fakemaster 0 Posted July 3, 2010 Actually it is not confusing at all. People always come in looking for watch X like the only option is to buy one. No one ever eats one Pringle. Once you get the bug you will buy them all at some point so get both.
123qwe 0 Posted July 3, 2010 ok you confirm that are two must have I think I will go first with the po and after with the sub. Thanks guys
oscarmadfish 0 Posted July 3, 2010 which pringles shall i get ? cheese and chive or barbecue ?
KBH 7 Posted July 3, 2010 A Sub to a 42mm PO is one thing, but you can't compare a 40mm Sub to a 45.5mm PO. That's like comparing a Sea Dweller to a Ploprof.
Omeg@007 0 Posted July 3, 2010 PO for sure, I have one and it is a lot nice in appearance than SM.
JoeyB 0 Posted July 3, 2010 I think i'm more with the planet ocean because is less eye-catching than any watch with the Rolex logo on the dial. It seems to me that you are saying you think the Rolex will be doubted as being genuine, but you feel more comfortable with the Omega being accepted as a genuine. You know better than any of us what is important to you, and what your circle will or will not question. One of our best recommended dealers, Robert at Prestige Watch, just posted 4 POs, two are chronos, that are the latest 'Liquid Steel' ceramic bezel. At $129 they are are a bargain. If you sign up to be a VIP here for $25 bucks then Robert drops the price to $99, saving you $4 more. You could likely get both watches for under $225 shipped. It's all your choice now. http://www.replica-watches-guide.com/forum...?showtopic=6416 http://www.replica-watches-guide.com/forum...?showtopic=6417 http://www.replica-watches-guide.com/forum...?showtopic=6418 http://www.replica-watches-guide.com/forum...?showtopic=6419
NFleischer 4,355 Posted July 3, 2010 like most people here, i have both. i have the 42mm PO- i think the 45mm is too big for me.

BTW good for the price
123qwe 0 Posted July 4, 2010 (edited) If I buy a black upo, then is possible to change the bezel in orange? Is that an "on the fly" mod that allow you to decide what color want your watch any evening? Edited July 4, 2010 by 123qwe

Ska 11 Posted July 4, 2010 It's close but there's no excuse for that rolley style pearl on a PO anymore.
air228 0 Posted July 6, 2010 PO is a nice but... i'll take sub LV anytime....

I agree with you...been on holidays and caught a couple of airplanes, I saw 4 rolexes (plus mine) but no omegas...felt a little awkward.... so, my next purchase will be a PO, definitely...and I will join the club of those who have both ahahahaha
GC 4,517 Posted July 13, 2010 The advantage of the PO is people will not tend to think it's a rep, where as with the Sub people tend to think it's a rep (even if it's a GEN). But I agree with the decision to get both... because both are "must haves" in any collection!
