Looking for Sub crystal

Anybody have an idea where to find a new sapphire crystal for a Chinese Sub? I've found that it's slightly bigger than the gen/WM9/Clark crystal.

What is exact size ?

I'll have to take the Sub apart again to get an exact size, but it was just slightly larger than a Clark which is 30.4mm, which would put it probably at 30.6mm.

I was hoping there was a standard size for Chinese Subs, but I guess that would be wishful thinking.

Glad I could give you a chuckle..

Let me re-phrase the question. If I was to totally disassemble my Chinese Sub and get an accurate measurement, would I be able to find a replacement crystal, since it's not the same size as a gen/WM9/Clark? Or should I sell it on Rep Geek as a vintage model for 2x the $$ because of the scratches?

Sell it on the geek for 4X with the updated, soon to be released by Rolex super-sized crystal.

Hard to say mate.

If you get the exact measurements someone may be able to source you one.

Crystals are a constant problem that will not be fixed until OS next gets to GZ.

Just in case anybody ever needs the information, I found that a Clark Datejust crystal at 30.6mm is a nice tight perfect fit for (at least my) Chinese Sub case. Even passed my swimming pool test. Nice cyclops, too.

Good find mate!!

Congrats

Of course if you had that laser scanner you'd be done in a jiffy.
