ebzen02 341 Posted July 4, 2010 So, I couldn't stand waiting for that monkey to finish his 6154 so yesterday I bought a dremel and over night this is what happened to my Getat fiddy and superlumed dial.. I promise that I was not high.. Well, these are a couple of pics of my first vintage attempt. Case was reshaped --although some more is needed, but I wanted to wear it today.. The dial was baked, dipped in some leftover black coffee from breakfast, and the indices got a bit of my wife's nail polish .. So, I am now going to save my pennies for a Okabum CG and a nightwatch caseback..Can't forget a nice crystal to go with this..Once Okabum decides to create some dials I might go buy one and distress that shit out of it--well, maybe just a tiny bit.. Here is my rookie attempt.. A bit more work will be done to the case but this is it for this morning.
greg_r 81 Posted July 4, 2010 Strictly speaking it's a 6152 - the 6154 doesn't have a CG. Nit-pickiness aside, that's nice work, mate

PatronSaintofChainsaws 1 Posted July 4, 2010 Strictly speaking it's a 6152 - the 6154 doesn't have a CG. Nit-pickiness aside, that's nice work, mate Neither does the 6152. It's the 6152/1 that has a CG (and not even all of them do...some gen 6152/1 have a regular 8mm Brevet screw-down crown).
