Some Beginners Advice Please.......Omega TAG AP

Recommended Posts

skintrade

Guys,

Just browsing this forum (hours while away), I am amazed at the detail, choice and overall comradery.

I am currently thinking of an Omega Speedmaster Moon or nice Sea Master, a Tag Monaco Calibre 12 and maybe an AP.

Can anybody guide me to watches I should be looking at ?

And also should I immediately go for the more expensive Omega replica over a cheaper one ? Is the difference that noticeable ?

Sorry about the novice content but thanks in advance for any help.

Cheers

All depend on your tastes. If you have large wrist, go for AP, Ruben Barrichello model is the best, IMHO.

Omega - UPO is the best. TAG - only after AP and UPO.

Swiss all the way, ofcourse.

And stop playing that shity painted PRS, buy a serious guitar, for God's sake!!!

+1 to Luthier.

I'm an omega man personally and the UPO is one of the best reps out there. But any of his other suggestions are great too.

And yeah - that 513 looks decidedly shonky. Leave well alone and get one of the board guitar guys (like me and luthier) to make you a proper instrument.

Can't say from the picture, all classicals looks the same.

But if it's Brazilian Rosewood/Cedar - then yes, it should be serious instrument.

But every serious classical should be equipped with Gilbert tuners. Yours seems not.

My guess - it's made by modern luthier, according to headstock.

You have to see my classical, man...

It's actually not a classical guitar, but a flamenco guitar (much lighter) made by Conde Hermanos (sobrinos de Domingo Esteso, to give them their full credit) of Madrid in 1996.

In it's kind, one of the best.
