Rolex 6200 build

Haven't posted a build for a while, here's my Rolex 1955'ish 6200.

 

The case was thinned out to better suit the original dimensions then Beveled, and softened.

Lugs drilled.

Crown tube drilled /tapped.

Aged case and polished many times.

Bezel was shaped and beveled, nickel and brass finish.

Insert bleached

Yuki pearl

Dial was aged, relumed.

Hands plated, aged relumed

Serviced Swiss movement

Plexi from 1975 original cracks and wear.

Caseback has MI5 007 stamped .

The cracked plexi looks great. I have a watch from the 80s with such a plexi. The dial looks pretty cool if the sun shines on it and the cracks throw a shadow on it.
