rossor 0 Posted November 28, 2013 Hey guys! I'm thinking of buying TAG Heuer watch which costs $315. Do you think it's worth it? Here's a link to the actual watch: http://www.kingshowbox.com/goods.php?id=3414. Thanks Ross
DG335 0 Posted November 28, 2013 Not sure you've posted in the right section, maybe more general discussion. To answer your specific question.... Well it's like trying to decide between a Citroen C1 and a Porsche 911. Both will get you from A to B, one costs more than the other but looks better and is nicer to drive. Same with reps.... Pay more and generally get better although it's not strictly true the higher you get...some mid range reps are great and you're getting anal with the stuff to pay more
rossor 0 Posted November 28, 2013 Oh right sorry about that! So you think more expensive reps aren't always better than cheaper ones?
DG335 0 Posted November 28, 2013 No I'm saying "better" can be subjective. Clearly there is a reason why a tag cal 16 is $320 vs a cheaper $150 but whether you buy the expensive one is down to you. Loads of people here buy cheapo quartz and are happy. I own the top of the range cal 16 and I love it...
Omega_guy 3 Posted December 7, 2013 I'm struggling to get the Omega I want, so I'm wanting a Carerra Calibre 16. All the top class ones on the trusted dealers look spot on apart from the Tag logo looks nothing like the gen ??
HeavyKrush 16 Posted December 7, 2013 Oh yeah, that's a fantastic watch. My first actually. Can't go wrong.
jgoorn 0 Posted December 7, 2013 I would not. The dial is too busy. But I prefer Pateks and a few decluttered Rolexs'. Just my own opinion.
Omega_guy 3 Posted December 7, 2013 Which TD has the best one available, I have been looking and there is a big variation In price. I don't really want to pay more than $320, some were 900+
