HWG 11 Posted December 11, 2013 Guys, for clarification, I only have the rep on SS bracelet. Member tesmith posted pics of his GEN on the rubber strap. My rep is functioning flawlessly, and yes, the GMT function works as it should as well.
black263 228 Posted December 11, 2013 I'll PM you the link.... Nice looking strap. I hope it does not have that awful vanilla smell that the breitling straps have. Surely they need the vanilla smell to be more accurate to the gen.
Lt. Dan 0 Posted December 12, 2013 :lmao: I'll PM you the link.... Nice looking strap. I hope it does not have that awful vanilla smell that the breitling straps have. Surely they need the vanilla smell to be more accurate to the gen. :lmao: God I hate that smell. I had to take the strap off my Breitling Rep as soon as I got the watch. Uggg. Reminded me a a cheap stripers perfume...yuck.
credo325 0 Posted December 20, 2013 Wear it well, I have had my eye on this for a while.

According to Gene Stone in his book "The Watch", in the Hublot section,....."They were placed on high-quality, vanilla-scented rubber straps, which were mocked at first but have since .been emulated by many others". So the vanilla smell is not a Chinese factory fault, but an attempt to get close to the gen.
Cire0467 0 Posted December 22, 2013 Nice watch. This is the exact model I want to celebrate an Auburn Univ National Championship in Jan. I exchanged email with Joshua at PC yesterday. The pictures on his site make the blue look darker. These photos make me feel much better. The blue looks like what I saw in the store.
Flipper81 0 Posted December 22, 2013 I want this watch I have a tag aqua racer on order and when I can this is my next order. Silly question but does the gmt hand operate separately to the hour hand

jpohl402 0 Posted January 30, 2014 Tell me please.... is the GMT hand plagued by the same issue as Pam029, where it often stays frozen or skips, due to the extra added gears? Thanks!!

Rep factories are just emulating the gens here guys.
Mcloughlind 0 Posted February 3, 2014 Damn! Just ordered the black GMT with orange numerals because the photos of the blue GMT didn't look accurate at all! Your photos clearly show that the colours are pretty close! Enjoy! :-)

ellistyle1 0 Posted February 15, 2014 I have a general GMT functionality question and one specific to this watch. The specific one first--on this watch can the GMT hand be set independently of the hour hand or does it just go 30 mins to the hour hand's hour? I.e. when 1pm will the GMT hand always be at 13 or can it be set to another timezone? Are there reps that have an independently set GMT hand? I have a solebox that I love, but it seems to just have the 24 hour dial. It is also possible that I misunderstand the function of these watches altogether and my questions make no sense. Jase 0 Posted February 15, 2014 Completely independant mate. You can have the GMT hand wherever you want. On this PO, it's set at the first click date setting. Clockwise of the crown sets the date, anticlockwise sets the GMT to where you want. Hope that helps ellistyle. Jase..

I was about to jump on one of this POs, but backed off thinking that the GMT function might not be fully baked. It is back on the list! Thank you and enjoy that watch until you are ready to sell it to me!
