cheeese 0 Posted December 23, 2013 I've always thought of bracelets on men as the equivalent of a ring on the left thumb of a woman especially when they are worn on the watch wrist.
Chrisby 1 Posted December 23, 2013 I don't like to wear anything else on the same wrist as I wear my watch, certainly not with a dress watch. I think, as others have said, it competes with your watch. That being said, as Sol said, something simple, as he wears, can take some of the 'look at me' factor when it comes to wearing a rep of a $15000 gen. Maybe a simple leather band, would work? greg_r 83 Posted December 23, 2013 Nope. The only jewellery I wear is a watch and a wedding band. I'm still laughing at gB's comment, though
bavan 0 Posted December 23, 2013 I would not wear it together! But thats me
Bluejuz 0 Posted December 23, 2013 Nah looks too much on the same wrist for a grown man to be wearing. Kinda like 'look at me I'm stylish and at one with the earth'. Maybe on a beach holiday it could look ok. Each to there own anyway.
digital_sound 0 Posted December 23, 2013 As it is posted by many, that it's not their cup of tea, I do usually see Italians, Parians, and a few Americans rocking the beaded, leather, or double wrapped tiny leather "Belt" type strap on the same wrist as the watch! I believe it more of a statement to say "I don't take myself to serious"... or, it's just a fun way of adding a bit of flair to an otherwise boring outfit! It's all in the name of having fun. fortman 0 Posted December 23, 2013 Funnily enough my lady bought me a thin platted leather man-bangle during the Summer. I must admit I like the look but exclusively on my right wrist as agree it can take away the visual impact of your watch. I'm 46 and live in the middle of the English countryside so I wear mainly check cotton shirts, moleskin trousers and waxed cotton jackets. The only things who might note any statement of my fashion would be rabbits and the occasional passing squirrel.! Like Sol's worn with his Rollie though as its unobtrusive. Thats the view from here anyway...

McJules 396 Posted December 23, 2013 not for me. i'm not a type of guy who wears that stuff, and even less jewels. only watches and that's all. even when shopping for my wedding ring, i couldn't stand any yellow gold or stuff like that. i went with a tungsten ring since it's unconventionnal

2point 21 Posted December 23, 2013 Bracelets? No thanks. You'll be wanting two tone bling and 'Ambassador' on your wrist next. So unbecoming.

Jagsman 20 Posted December 23, 2013 Nah defi not, had a straw poll in the pub tonite and we all agreed that bracelets belong on a lady. May just be the part of the country we are from but not acceptable for a gent to wear bracelets! We all agreed a nice watch and a wedding band are about it may get away with a chain at a push. As I said could be the demographic (35-41) and the fact we are all mates for a long time so have similar tastes.
