Philly_Stan 0 Posted July 19, 2010 I had to share my latest acquisition from Mary. These photos are from her, I'll make an attempt next week after it arrives, but I wanted to share. Mary states that this is the "best version" and it will have a Swiss ETA movement, based on everyone's feedback, I have no reason to doubt her. As you can see, the rear screws are correct, the lume is "pretty good" and the rear engraving is damn close but I wanted your views also. Thanks to the members of RWG for helping me with this acquisition, with more to come!

Philly_Stan 0 Posted July 19, 2010 (edited) It's FABULOUS' Stan Something tells me I'll never live that statement down That said, I think it applies to this "instrument" Edited July 19, 2010 by Philly_Stan

Member X 91 Posted July 19, 2010 Like it! I have to get one of these at some point. If she's not sent it yet, can she get the tool for the strap bars and also some spare strap bars? Better safe than sorry...

16plus4v 0 Posted December 15, 2011 Nice B&R. One thing I noticed right away was the logo on the crown. You'll noticed that compared to an authentic B&R which has a thicker logo, this replicated version is much "thinner" in scale. This one was just ordered by me from PTW. You'll also notice these carry the same serial numbers..
Alexander_john 0 Posted March 16, 2012 Wow, Awesome gift you got on marry, Good i like all these.
kfmcmahon 0 Posted April 26, 2012 (edited) Nice B&R. One thing I noticed right away was the logo on the crown. You'll also notice these carry the same serial numbers.. so weird that they can't get the ampersand, on the dial, centered...I was interested in the 01-94 but that " military spes" just floored me..how can they continue to misspell such a simple (abbreviated) word? Such an easily reppped dial (like a Breitling abyss vs Navitimer) but still can't get it right...planned obsolescence like Apple! ps up 9% today Edited April 26, 2012 by kfmcmahon
kfmcmahon 0 Posted April 26, 2012 (edited) by the way, love your watch and you won't be called out on it. Planned on getting a double-ridged back crock on my 01-94 which would look sweet on yours. Edited April 26, 2012 by kfmcmahon
