SheriffWho 0 Posted January 10, 2014 I don't have time for a full review but after months of resisting Hublot, I pulled the trigger on 3 different models. 1) this rg v6 2) a v6.5 ss/cer 3) a beast v6 diver The first to arrive is this, RG/ceramic v6 from Ryan. First impression - after recent handling a gen HBB... Holy crap this is nice! Here's a few quick shots... I will do a big review/comparo when I get more time (and when my v6.5 ss/cer and v6 diver arrive)...
R5tdi 0 Posted January 10, 2014 That's a nice watch I'm really tempted by this one but I have one question for the Hublot geeks Why unlike the AP watches are all Hublot screws never lined up even on the Gens they are like this makes my OCD radar go nuts Might have to buy one and make it less gen like and line up the screws Great watch mate enjoy it
tito 0 Posted January 10, 2014 you can't...it will look awful. let me explain..in AP every screw has a triangular shape, and it points towards the vertex of the octagon.. HB are round shape..if you'll play with the screws it will look not right...believe me I've tried . btw what are the changes in ver 6.5?

Corv99 2 Posted January 10, 2014 I like this model a lot, maybe angling towards version with plain dial as I've got SS version with patterned dial.. But agree the quality is amazing... Enjoy it..
SheriffWho 0 Posted January 10, 2014 I like this model a lot, maybe angling towards version with plain dial as I've got SS version with patterned dial..But agree the quality is amazing... Enjoy it.. Thanks bro! I have this exact one in ss on the way as well so I can compare them. I know there are some minor things like the bezel but when I get a watch - rep or gen, I judge the quality. We can knit pick til the world's end, but bottom line, this is quality and I really like it! Can't wait to compare it to the others I have inbound... Another note... Regarding the strap. It may just be my wrist, but this strap (and clasp) is comfortable. I've seen lots of complaints about that issue and none from me. I find ap deployant straps to be unbearable, which is why all my APs have diver/tang straps or ss bracelets. Just my personal take on this HBB strap anyway.
