Mazz 62 Posted January 12, 2014 Is it a hand wind? Ty mate, it's an automatic. The second generation of this series after World War II. If it's an automatic it's not a 65 what I believe what you have is a 68 by the shape of the case and the location of the crown. That's the watch that got the Japanese banned from the Chronometer certifications. Basically the Seiko took a watch off the line that then out preformed or did just as well as all the special custom made watches submitted by the European brands. After 68 only Swiss made watches were allowed to be certified. Still a beaut of a watch

Abagnale 0 Posted January 12, 2014 this two movements are still waiting for some nice cases. unfortunately customs seized the case for the 6152/1 4 liner build and i need to invent a plausible story to get it back… cheers
TheInthusiest 0 Posted January 12, 2014 To bad you aren't a jeweller like I am. I always say something like. These are pieces to a watch that is needed for repair. Usually they will let the case through.
