This is actually mentioned in the RWG guidelines, but it seems that we need to make it clear here too. Please remember that a lot of our members surf in from work and therefore images of nudity etc. can cause a problem (whatever the rights and wrongs relating to 'free speech' the fact is that many companies have rules about that sort of thing).

 

Therefore, you may ONLY post NSFW images in Section 8 and please note there are still limits to what we will allow (no outright porn - boobie shots are fine, but nothing excessively gynaecological please). Inappropriate pics (or those posted outside Sec8) will be removed without warning.

 

Please note that this rule also applies to Avatars. Because Avatars are small, we tend to be reasonably lax about policing this, but anything blatant is likely to be removed without warning.

 

Please also note: Avatars may be uploaded to the board, or hotlinked from a photo hosting site. Please DO NOT hotlink avatars or other pics from random sites on the web - we've had numerous instances where AntiVirus software has flagged up malware and it turns out that the only problem has been an image hotlinked from a known malware site. Tracking these instances down takes an inordinate amount of staff time - and we reserve the right to delete without notification any hotlinked image not hosted on a recognised photo hosting site for this reason.
