NFleischer 4,355 Posted January 20, 2014 Isn't EMS $20-25 with most TDs? Puretime has become about the most expensive dealer. Everyone -especially at RG- thinks he's the cat's meow. JohnG 41 Posted January 20, 2014 Yeah, it pisses me off when a dealer tries to hose you on the shipping. EMS doesn't cost them that, they just pad it for more profit. Frazzle 5 Posted January 20, 2014 I've used Toro in the past and yeah he was $25 for EMS. Not a big issue really $10 when you consider puretime is the only supplier of this watch. But I hear what you're saying. As for QC pics, a lot of people have been instructed to check junk and spam folders. Have a look and see if they got pushed in there. Actually, as soon as the other dealers get it, I would expect the price to be a bit cheaper. And then there is the assraping on the shipping - not all dealers do that. As far as I'm aware the decorated bridges were just for the pre-order batch of 300. What I can't work out is how they manage all the watches that are rejected at QC stage from the pre-order batch. Surely these movements subsequently become available. All Angus has said is that there is no guarantee that those who order now will get decorated bridges. I think the pre-order price was $298 and the price now is $318. I'm sure over a considerable time when the initial hype and demand slows the price will come down slightly but I wouldn't expect much.
