themoo-12 0 Posted July 27, 2010 I've attempted on my own along with 3 different watchsmiths none of us can get the damn pins out to size it I soaked the band in olive oil for 3 hours to grease it up. Any advice on the juggarnaut of watch bands?
Member X 91 Posted July 27, 2010 lol You could try freezing the bracelet (JUST the bracelet :( lol) in the coldest part of your freezer for a day - the pins might contract a little so they're easier to remove? One trick I tried with difficult pins is to have a towel folded up several times underneath - you can rest the bracelet on it while steadying it either with one hand or letting the towel hold it, then you can push really hard on the pins and not worry about scratching the table underneath or risk the bracelet slipping from your fingers and you stabbing yourself in the hand or scratching the metal lol
themoo-12 0 Posted July 27, 2010 I've resized one before but damn haha maybe its time for a rubber strap :(

AllergyDoc 40 Posted July 27, 2010 Lay's selling them for $58 shipped here. Not a recommended dealer here but is on RWI. Mary can get you one, too. Robert probably has a box of them as well.

Relayman 0 Posted July 27, 2010 Wait, wait, wait, ........ you will need a good pin pusher tool but you can do it. Don't give up, it will be more than worth the effort when you finish.
