itgoes211 0 Posted August 4, 2019 Has anyone had experience with a Soprod A10 movemen? Does anyone know where to get a stem for a Soprod A10 movement? Will a Seiko 4Lxx stem fit a Soprod A10 movement since the A10 is modeled on a Seiko 4Lxx (4L25 I think)? I picked up a used Ball movement that turns out to be a Soprod A10 without a stem. After finding out what the movement actually was, I searched Soprod A10 with limited results. And the manufacturer’s website has pages and spec sheets the I can’t access for some reason - I keep getting error messages when clicking links to the info and scpec sheets. (I’m in the US, so maybe my IP is causing the error from an international webpage - just a guess). I’ll keep searching, but figured I throw it out here as well. This thread probably isn't the right place for your question. In any event, have you tried dlwwatches watchuseek or dagazwatch? Those are my Seiko go to places. Edited August 4, 2019 by mmjmmj Edits. Thefrenchman 0 Posted September 25, 2019 Really helpful thanks, surprised that sellers don't appear to advertise they use Miyota movements, which as you say are very reliable.

They do, check thin (11mm or so) models and you'll se they all are based either on Miyota 9015 or Asian clone of Eta2892a2. I.e. the AP 15400, the Patek 5227, the Nautilus, the Aquanaut ecc ecc. Only checked a few sites and hadn't seen it mentioned often.I know Silix just put Asian quartz and Toro Bravo on odd watches might say Ronda or just Japanese or Swiss quartz movement.Having bought a watch a few years ago with a Ronda it was far more plastic spacer than movement.More investigation from me needed!
