Galactus 0 Posted September 12, 2016 That is a good sum up. Funny how the full variety of repped watches rely on such a small amount of calibers. For those interested on the topic I suggest the wiki http://calibercorner.com/ No asian movements over there though! Cheers,

Market Man 0 Posted March 1, 2017 (edited) Thanks great reference guide and good place to start as a noob. Doing some research before starting topic. The sticky link on the 7750 doesn't seem to work? When searching for watches staying away from this movement all together, or is there variations of this movement in that link I can't access? OPPS saw the next thread discussing the 7750 in more detail, my mistake. Are the adjustment and settings recommendation on the 7750 only for the 7750 or is it better not to set/use various functions of all movements, except for setting the time, to increase longevity of the movement? griffon22 44 Posted March 19, 2017 with respect to others, I think Greg has got it spot on , I dont see the point in adding amendments that just serve to confuse the raw newbie even more, I wish this thread had been here when I started out here. maybe another sticky thread could indeed go into each movement with more comprehensive information, just for the record . we could really do with a whole forum section biult around movements with comparison pictures and as much information as possible . but for what it was written for, this thread is just right. nice one Greg.
