Love the RG RC!! A guy I talked to at the CES in Vegas 2 weeks ago had it on his wrist. Stunning timepiece that simply pops. Thanks for sharing baxter!

Nice one mate... Wish I had got more time to actually do this too , I think needs to be factored into next gtg

I'm arming massively to the AP RG after seeing it close up... And these photos .... Have to say the AP reps are pretty impressive on the whole..

Thank Baxter, no really thanks. You just got me into a pam 389, fuck!! I was done buying watches. Fuck that pam is nice! Damn...

Same here :-(

I thought I was on the road to rehabilitation, but damn that 389 is looking sweet.

Glad you enjoyed 'em boys :)

Considering the cost I'm surprised the strap fit isn't tighter - note the gap between the strap end and watch case plus also gap (with daylight showing through) at one end of the right hand link. My reps are better than that.

yeah i noticed there is quite a lot of movement in the lugs than on the reps , but i wonder if this is to give a little more comfort / room as the gen deployant fit is much more comfortable

Does the gen have a deployant rather than buckle and tang? Personally I hate all those gaps, just makes it look badly made - but then I like the strap to be rigid to the watch case and not move around either.

The gen 42mm's have deployant but the new 44mm's have a buckle and wide Diver type rubber ........ re the gaps - considering the general quality of the watches i don't think it's a mistake so must have something to do with flexibility / comfort.

One thing that maybe they are taking into account with loose tolerances is wrist size. I have a circa 7" wrist and the AP Diver fits well, but for bigger wrists the strap will need to push out more at the union with the watch case, so perhaps that's their answer, as if it were a totally rigid fit it couldn't, particularly as the rubber type used in the straps is quite firm. Just a thought...

it was the reason i booked a later train ...... although it was a gamble as i could have been in no fit state ... luckily i got away with it :D

Next time Derek, next time !!!

That plat Pam is a thing of bliss,, it's beautiful. It's classy while not being over the top and in your face at the same time, somehow.

Wow. Aston pretty much summed up my thoughts exactly. .. that platinum Radiomir is droolworthy. The thing practically GLOWS! Don't know how, but I'm going to figure out how to get my greedy paws on that eventually. I think I just discovered my "grail" watch lol.

Not sure what to do about the entourage though. . ;)
