AllergyDoc 40 Posted July 29, 2010 Ordered and received in about one week. Looks pretty much like my old "Super" SeaDweller: Crown guards too big, probably could use a better crown, funky pearl... The steel is finished nicely: Diver's extension : I had to fiddle with the extension piece, bending it slightly to get it to fit properly. The gen extension fit on my old SD, so it should fit on this one too. Crystal height: Wristy: Lume is pretty good on the hour markers but not so good on the hands. I will probably get a Watchmaterial insert for it later. Bracelet is the usually rattle-rattle Rolex. We'll see how much it quiets down after I give it the bike-lube treatment. Big SEL gaps. Date fonts seem to be well placed, but I haven't looked at them all yet. I can hear the rotor and winding gears when I move my wrist, but only if I hold the watch within 6" of my ear. For $74.50 with shipping, a damn good deal.
dingle 57 Posted July 29, 2010 this is a damn good deal doc and I noticed it does not have the "original gas escape" mumbo jumbo showing. That was a big turn off for me. just may be my first rollie

Eiderdaus 0 Posted August 10, 2010 can´t wait to get mine. Do I have to do something with the HEV ?
AllergyDoc 40 Posted August 10, 2010 Usually the HeV has to be epoxied from the inside, but I'm not sure on these newer products. It depresses when you push on it.

Baldrick 1 Posted August 13, 2010 Nice watch Doc, and you do really well with those outdoor photos, the light in CA is very good, especially when shot in early evening light
AllergyDoc 40 Posted August 13, 2010 Thanks. I've perfected the art of the lazyman's watch photography. Bah to tripods. Trust me Vladslayer, this watch only cost $75 US.
Tressles61 0 Posted August 13, 2010 I bought the same watch Doc. I like it. I put a black kevlar type of strap on it with a brushed square buckle and it looks great. I'm still struggling with the camera purchase so no photos yet.
Baldrick 1 Posted August 13, 2010 Try hand holding with one of these, no bah to tripods there

AllergyDoc 40 Posted August 23, 2010 How good does it keep time does it lose much time in a day Pretty accurate. Maybe not COSC standards but close.
Eiderdaus 0 Posted September 11, 2010 It´s waterproof without doing something on the Gas escape. Just greased the o-rings and the caseback

Eiderdaus 0 Posted September 12, 2010 the only thing was that the black color of the engraving of the caseback disappeared but this is no issue for me. I attached now a nato strap since the ss bracelet with hollow midlinks is not the best idea in saltwater I made that experience
