Kal-el 0 Posted January 21, 2014 Hand winding it might help mate.
Bluejuz 0 Posted January 21, 2014 Not being funny but it's probably to do with you being a spurs fan. It just can't keep with the pace & grinds to a halt.
elp 26 Posted January 21, 2014 Put it on the right wrist, the left one is notoriously bad at induction charging. P.S. What's the movement?
mstan 2,152 Posted January 21, 2014 What's the model/movement? If it's a hand wound model like 6497 then it'll take 30 - 40 turns of the crown until you feel resistance then you know it's fully wound, don't try and force it past that point though.
nev848 0 Posted January 21, 2014 What model and movement?
Alanokeeffe 0 Posted January 21, 2014 Asian 6479 Pam 247 Ferretti High Beat 21600bph Movement...I can feel it spring back when winding it so I take its wound.
BaggyPants 0 Posted January 21, 2014 You should wind it until it can wind no more. That movement is bulletproof.
PeterPotamus 2 Posted January 21, 2014 30 to 40 turns to fully wind it. Do NOT force it!!! Good luck
Alanokeeffe 0 Posted January 21, 2014 Prob sounding a bit slow here but never had a self winding watch b4.should the level be opened or closed when winding
PeterPotamus 2 Posted January 21, 2014 Prob sounding a bit slow here but never had a self winding watch b4.should the level be opened or closed when winding The lever must be open, the crown in it's normal position The A6497 is not a self winding movement, it is a manual wind movement, so you'll have to wind it every 40 hours
Kleen™ 45 Posted January 21, 2014 Open lever. Wind away from you. Slight springy feeling is normal. When it gets more firm (after 30-40 turns) you're fully charged and good to go for a couple of days (do not force beyond this point!)
BaggyPants 0 Posted January 21, 2014 I fully wind both my 6497 movements each morning. It's a habit I have gotten into.
