GC 4,461 Posted July 29, 2010 First off, I would like to thank Reg for this phenomenally beautiful watch. This is a show stopper bar none with so many fine details it's absolutely insane for the price... just wait till you see the pics! Now about the pics, this watch has been shot by the best (read TTK)... I did something a little different, because imo this watch is all about the details, I hope you like them and strangely I hope I made TTK proud! thanks for letting me share GC B)

trailboss99 994 Posted January 31, 2012 Where can I buy this type of watch??? Most any of the dealers have this piece. I bought mine from MarvelousReplica but most any of them should have it. It's a steal at under 150 bucks. Not a very good rep (naturally, the gen is a half million) but a great watch. Love the watch mate ... still can't work out what the 'night time' side means though! The "night side" is Sidereal Time (and other things). Short explanation: Sidereal time /saɪˈdɪəriəl/ is a time-keeping system astronomers use to keep track of the direction to point their telescopes to view a givenstar in the night sky. Briefly, a sidereal day is a "time scale that is based on the Earth's rate of rotation measured relative to the fixed stars."[1] . . . . . . A mean sidereal day is about 23 hours, 56 minutes, 4.091 seconds (23.93447 hours or 0.99726957 mean solar days), the time it takes the Earth to make one rotation relative to the vernal equinox. (Due to nutation, an actual sidereal day is not quite so constant.) The vernal equinox itself precesses slowly westward relative to the fixed stars, completing one revolution in about 26,000 years, so the misnamed sidereal day ("sidereal" is derived from the Latin sidus meaning "star") is some 0.008 seconds shorter than the Earth's period of rotation relative to the fixed stars. Long one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sidereal_time Sidereal clock: http://www.jgiesen.de/astro/astroJS/siderealClock/
frimble 0 Posted March 8, 2012 Thanks for the explanation. I'll just use that side for looking pretty! Way out of my brain capacity.
