To be honest, I don't wear my PAMs with rubber straps, but I have to say that the quality of the rubber strap on this Hfac (and in my Noob 111 v3) are great. I can't tell you about durability, but the overall quality matches my gen Panerai rubber straps that I own. BTW, no funny smell on them. mysterio 18 Posted May 2, 2014 I think I read a rep vs gen rubber comparison thread somewhere (not sure which board though) and the results are rather favorable. I already bought a few from him, he provides great service but his communications are not that good. What I do like dealing with him is his personal QC, he takes it seriously Maybe a little late to this, but sure looks really nice! The CP seems a bit sunken IMO, but the DLC color is great. Totally off-topic, but I have a good friend from Sao Paulo that keeps sending me his pieces, due to customs issues. Did you get yours from Sead in Brazil?
