solkryssare 109 Posted August 5, 2010 nice watch! which bits are gen? Thank you. Bracelet and end links are gen 585's, but they fit pretty good anyway. Will buy a pair of 580's when a cheap pair pops up on TRF, but for now these will do.

KBH 7 Posted August 5, 2010 Sporting the "true GMT" version of the IIC today. Db. I thought you sold the 183 cause it was too big for you? Now you've gone even bigger. (Let me know if you want another 183)
dingle 57 Posted August 5, 2010 Sporting the "true GMT" version of the IIC today. Db. I thought you sold the 183 cause it was too big for you? Now you've gone even bigger. (Let me know if you want another 183) 183 = 45MM 111 = 44MM the 111 fits just right and wears much more comfortable too. Something on the 183 just did not sit right on my wrist. I think it was the lugs, but who know for sure.......
greg_r 83 Posted August 5, 2010 Ding: The 183 wears smaller than a 111 - partly because it's thinner and partly because it is actually smaller in diameter once you take the GC into account.. My suspicion is that either the case on your sample was the wrong shape or the strap was poorly suited to the watch.
KBH 7 Posted August 5, 2010 I agree. I originally bought a 183 and an 005 on a bracelet. First I got rid of the bracelet because it felt HUGE. Then I sold the 005 cause it still felt too big. And I do still occasionally wear the 183 and find it quite comfortable.
dingle 57 Posted August 5, 2010 this is the only wristie i could find of my 183. Notice how the Lugs hang off the end of my wrist. Yes, it was that big. The 111 is not even close to doing that. Is it the watch or do I have funky shaped wrist causing this?
ebzen02 341 Posted August 5, 2010 Yup.. You have an issue.
KBH 7 Posted August 5, 2010 Here's the only one I could find, which doesn't show much. But I think it's large but comfortable. Another excellent job of thread jacking!
