Doobrey 0 Posted February 1, 2014 Hiya guys, I am after some help please. I have purchased a Rolex GMT with a deployment strap and have removed some of the links to make it fit. The issue I have now is with the link which connects to the locking mechanism on the deployment strap. I remove the ping reduce the size of the strap, but when I place the ping back in, it does not screw in and falls out after 2 minutes of wearing the watch. I am new this is "fixing" business, so am after some advice. Do I replace the strap? Should I get a "thicker" pin (if this is possible), maybe just replace that link which connects onto the locking mechanism? Any view on which is best and where I could get replacement parts? Thanks in advance, Doobs,
Zachthebaker 0 Posted February 1, 2014 I'm confused doob, is it a bracelet or a strap?
andyboy 5 Posted February 1, 2014 What Zach has asked strap or bracelet. If you are looking to stop a threaded pin falling out then a bit of loctite will fix it.

Olly 0 Posted February 1, 2014 Locktight in the thread should do the job.
