JSJ 0 Posted February 3, 2014 EDIT - My original title asked if it was a scam. Looks like it's not so I've edited the title. Rep Speedmaster listed at an extortionate price? http://www.ebay.co.u...1baf9a#viTabs_0 There are those on here who know a lot more about Speedmasters than me but I do have a rep and I reckon I know some of the tells: The 3 and 9 hour markers are short - I believe that is the most obvious tell of a rep It seems to have a rotor on the movement - did they make any automatics? "Sadly there are no papers with this watch" - mmm, very sadly. I'm fairly certain this is a rep due to the above. If so, someone is likely to get ripped off in a fairly big way. Do ebay care? KeNnY 29 Posted February 3, 2014 that is automatic version, the smaller version one looks good to me

Wriggles 12 Posted February 3, 2014 I'd be with Kenny, sub dial placement alone for the Speedy reduced looks gen to me. Know it's a 24 years old watch but wasn't minded particularly well and the lume application looks horrific, but flip side is someone really enjoyed their Speedy which is only right so good to see. Amit 72 Posted February 3, 2014 Definitely looks gen. You don't get subdials like that on a rep. They do produce autos of this and they have shorter markers at 3 and 9.
trailboss99 994 Posted February 3, 2014 Nope, gen as gen can be. Wouldn't buy a reduced in a pink fit however.
