This is a Japan domestic model and quite difficult to track down. So when one came up for sale on another forum, which I am beginning to frequent a lot more, I just had to bite :)

With this watch I feel I am only one step away from the grand Seiko!!

It is now in my hand, so I though will write a quick review on it with some eye candy.

First of all have to say this is definitely one watch where the pictures do not do the watch justice. It is simply one of the most beautiful dress watches I have seen, and very difficult to capture that with a lens (unless of course you are a certain Scottish chap with the name, Del )

This has a very expensive feel to it and can see this going well with a suit.

It wears 40mm (excluding crown) and is 10.7mm thick. It has 22mm lugs.

Has the wonderful Caliber: 4R36 movement that hacks and is windable. 24 jewels.

Great Seiko luminova as per Seiko standards. 100m water resistant - not that I would want to wear this beauty in the sea.

Very classy look and feel to this model. Has red accents on the second hands and for numbers 15,30,45 and 60 which adds to the classy feel. Lots of clever facets and I think this only adds to the very expensive feel.

Great cosmetic finish with just the right amount of polished and brushed finishes on the case and bezel. Lovey bracelet with a great finish too.

As I say very difficult to track this watch down, it really is very rare. Creationwatches had it at one point at $450

Now for some eye candy.........

Clap Clap!

Just beautiful, reminds me why I love Seikos!

My first memory of a watch was my dad's Seiko, even while he has Gen Rollies and omegas, his old seiko was a daily beater.

The damn thing is still running smoothly 35 years later and NEVER had any service. That watch has seen the ocean, sand and most

conditions imaginable.

Of course, the first "real" watch I got from him at my 14th birthday was a Quartz Seiko. Still have it looking brand new, changed the battery twice

and the 21 year old watch runs like a champ.

Honestly in the price range of Seikos you just cant have a better watch!
