Siodee 0 Posted February 5, 2014 Happy to received my first Rep TSW Pam505 a week ago and it is quiet a solid built, I have hold and tried the Gen Pam505 before, so the holding feeling and the built very similar, I am impress with the Rep market. I wish to have the Gen one on hand when I capture the photo for comparison I do not have the KW Pam 505 for the comparison, if you keen, you can read from ALE's review, he has done many good jobs for panerai. So what I write here is purely base on what I have now PAM 505 by TSW Copied from their site - lugs screws where connect to strap and casing updated to More stable, and there is some rubber ring inside. just same like gen watch. better than another versons. - the back glass color more same as gen watch color. - the leather strap just same like gen. Whether workmanship; quality; hardness, Thickness, color, as same as gen watch. And put our strap and gen strap together contrast, at least I do not see any difference. very good quality! - the DLC color more like gen. better than before. - P9000 movement Platinum plating better than the previous. - Movement of the carving and sanding process more better than the previous.. - and the Bezel and Crown part. just like gen watch. integrated into the case not like another version Two separate, requires assembly. our project just same as gen watch. MOVEMENT: Updated Asian Copy Panerai P.9000 movement basic on Asia 7750 Automatic 28,800bph movement. CASE DIAMETER: 45mm THICKNESS: 18mm DIAL COLOR: Brown with luminous Arabic numerals and hour markers. Date at 3 o’clock, seconds at 9 o’clock. CASE MATERIAL: High Grade Finish Brushed Solid Gen Titanium wit DLC Plated BRACELET: High Grade Hand made Calf Leather Strap FRONT GLASS: Sapphire Crystal Swiss Quality colorless anti-reflection coating. BACK: See-through Sapphire Crystal Case Back With Detail Engraving. back casing glass color as same as original watch. BEZEL: Just like gen watch. integrated into the case not like another version Two separate, OTHER: Water Resistant CLASP: Tang Buckle with DLC Plated. Updated to word engraving. OTHER: Crown Guard Lever Opening and Closing Feel Same As The Genuine First, of course is the wrist shot The strap is great and very comfort to wear The lug screw is easily open and there is a rubber inside the hole, so when screw back, can feel the tighten of the lock The movement is something I think they can't rep the same due to the movement they used is Asian 7750 and the neck is clockwise, but the wording on the movement almost identical to the Gen, except the "(28) Jewels", the font they use for "(" and ")" are different from original, I can't show that macro shot here Gen Original movement, the neck is anti clockwise Only problem with this piece is the lume at the minute hand, as you can see, I highlighted in the picture, it is quiet a lousy job for the lume I hope you guys enjoy the reading and welcome the comments about this piece, so very obvious to identify this piece whether it is Gen or Rep, just flip over and look at the movement, the neck is easy to spot. I am still learning from the rep world and it is fascinating of what they have done so far. Hopefully I will pick up another one in this year
wrenches&watches 0 Posted February 20, 2014 Nice review, gotta see some more examples with better applied lume before choosing over the KW. Just a better factory and qc from what I've seen. Still hoping for a ceramic version though, so keep buying people!

Chiruku 25 Posted February 25, 2014 Great review! It's made me go and put mine on today
TheTinMan 13 Posted February 25, 2014 I really like mine too. Not sure what version it is though. I only have one negative regarding mine - I wish the strap were a little softer. It just doesn't feel right and lets the watch down. I'll replace it eventually I'm sure.
Siodee 0 Posted February 25, 2014 If just the strap, still can change, mine is lume hand, hard to replace :(
