debian 0 Posted August 8, 2010 I want to show you my DIY Strap. I used leather from my old worn out wallet and an old belt. grinding the edges for gluing the fold ins... After grinding to correct shape and thickness on the long end that goes in to the deployment buckle... shoe shine to make the leather shine punching holes with a screwdriver... Super glue to secure the ends of the stitching. I got a bit to exited when the strap was finished so I forgot to picture it before i mounted it on the watch From this I have learned that making straps are hard work, and that I don't have the proper tools for it. I was very hard making the holes with a small screwdriver... If I'm going to make another strap i will buy some proper tools for cutting leather and making holes in leather... I made a few mistakes on this one. I wish I haven't made the short end quite as thick in the deployment buckle end as it is now... But I'm happy with the strap and I'm proud to have made it myself. And it feels nice that my wallet gets a new live as a strap. Thanks for watching.

But I like to sit down and create stuff like this. Thank y'all for the comments.
