Steve227 0 Posted August 9, 2010 I've decided to start a little project with a watch movement. I've had the below watch for about a year or so and found it in a draw at the weekend. A mate gave it to me but have never worn it primarily because it keeps losing loads of time around 3pm everyday and as a slight minus 'Officially Certified' is in the wrong place. So I've decided to use it to further my knowledge in the Horology Dept! Anyone who wants to chip in on thoughts, advice etc go straight ahead. To be honest I have no idea of its origins and I guess its a cheapy 'Canal Streety' piece (looking at the movement) so not going to be offended if its slated. I am about to kick off reading the articles on here re: upgrading etc as my idea is to maybe change the movement and just get it working properly. Here is the beauty!!! haha ......................................................... Cheers!
Member X 91 Posted August 9, 2010 Plastic movement holder? Yep, it's a cheap one lol Likely 21j movement, which I'm sure you can source for a very cheap price if you can measure this one up and ID it Doesn't look bad though!
